How does Station A vet providers on its marketplace?

Station A uses an open bidding process for projects, allowing any provider to submit a proposal at no cost but proposals undergo a detailed vetting process that includes provider and proposal-specific qualifications.

Station A believes an open bidding process results in the best outcome for a buyers so any provider can submit a proposal on our platform without cost.

Each proposal does go through a vetting process to qualify a provider for a project or group of projects. We first check the provider's qualifications, which are outlined in their Station A Provider Profile. This includes the company's profile, geographic reach, experience, safety indicators, and more. This helps buyers understand the provider's general background and experience.

Since we are trying to match the best provider for a given project or set of projects, we also require project-specific qualifications including proposal completeness, technical design and financials. We also ask for information about the project manager, the provider's state license(s), liability insurance coverage, and past project references for verification.
