When is it better to purchase a system outright?

PPAs are great for buyers who want to take advantage of the financial benefits of clean energy and the reduced fossil fuel impact of operations with no money down.

 Purchasing a system outright requires upfront capital but can generate a higher return over the life of a system (subject to the buyer’s cost of capital) and the ownership of environmental attributes, also known as Renewable Energy Credits that can be used for net zero reporting.
